Description
Thickness control system for rolling mills. The readout continuously tracks roll position and shows the working dimension on the display: sheet thickness is always under control, adjusted precisely and repeatable from pass to pass and batch to batch. Set the required value and roll until you read it, with no trial and error and no need to measure the piece at every pass. Large-digit display readable with the machine running and a three-key pad: millimetre/inch switching, absolute or relative reading with zeroing at any point (ABS-REL) and enter/reset. Supplied complete with our own bracket system, adaptable to any rolling mill: it also fits machines already in service, with no modification to the structure. Description
Reversible rolling mill on a closed grey cabinet, with a large coiler on each side of the frame for operation in both directions. Rolls 160 mm face × 120 mm diameter; the rolls and bronze bearings are water-cooled to control the operating temperature and keep sheet thickness constant. Cast twin-column upper stand, large screw handwheel for roll-gap adjustment and a second pair of front rolls. Brass distributors feed lubricant to the roll necks. Geared motor with flywheel, red perforated drive guard and front operator panel with MAN/AUT selectors and main disconnect switch. Fully overhauled and repainted.
